New tests on the Shroud of Turin show that it's much much older than thought. Quote from the article: "A determination of the kinetics of vanillin loss suggests that the shroud is between 1,300 and 3,000 years old" Great article linked here.
Amazing.. earlier carbon dating experiments were done on a patched area? Incredible. I think the addition of this new research will be difficult to ignore.
